Join Kairos Women+ (your favourite local hub for women+) to celebrate Women+ in Recovery with an evening sharing our stories in a live podcast and Q&A plus good food, conversation and performances.
The Live Podcast and Q&A
Come and meet a group of women+ in recovery. Listen and learn as they share their stories so far. Guaranteed laughter and hope. Opportunity to ask questions and get honest answers from those with personal experience.
The Performances
Enjoy a live performance of an audio play exploring the start of two women's journey's into recovery as they attend their bravely first appointment with alcohol and drug services.
There will also be a poetry and live music.
Eat, eat, eat!
Delicious, wholesome food from the wonderful Trailgrazers in Johnstone (a local women-led business). Sandwiches, pasta salads, sausage rolls, salad and more. Plus, celebration cake! Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.
Pay what you can!
We need your support now more than ever so if you can pay for a ticket or add a donation, you'll be helping women+ in your local community (and enjoying a good night out along the way!) If you don't have any money to spare, get a free ticket, no questions asked.

Children: This event is not suitable for children due to the discussions and content. Babies are welcomed.
Transport: The hub is a12 minute walk from Paisley Gilmour Station and the main bus routes. There is a large car park in front of the building.
Funded by: This event is generously funded by the National Lottery Community Fund - Community Action.
Accessibility information: the hub is on the 4th floor, accessible via a lift. There will be people around to greet you at the entrance, and again when you reach the 4th floor (between 5.15pm and 5.45pm).
