About This Event

Celebrated Irish-American trailblazers Solas bring their dynamic blend of traditional Irish music, folk, bluegrass, Americana and contemporary songwriting to Glasgow. Renowned for virtuosic musicianship, driving rhythms and emotionally resonant storytelling, the band seamlessly weaves reels, jigs and original compositions into a sound that is both deeply rooted and boldly adventurous. Supporting them is acclaimed Manx fiddler and Gaelic speaker Isla Callister , whose music draws on the rich traditions of the Isle of Man. Together, they offer an evening that celebrates the shared and distinct musical traditions of the Celtic nations.
