Formed in Bristol in 2012, The Allergies consist of DJ Moneyshot and producer Rackabeat. The duo has spent over a decade reshaping vintage sounds for modern dancefloors, earning multiple accolades from BBC Radio 6 Music. Their production style leans heavily on crate-digging, sampling classic funk, hip-hop, and disco to create fresh, floor-filling tracks. The live experience has evolved into a full-band powerhouse featuring long-time collaborator and LA rap legend Andy Cooper (of Ugly Duckling), vocalist Marietta Smith, and saxophonist James Morton. Their 2026 album, Beneath This Sun, continues their tradition of sample-led excellence and has been a staple of the UK festival circuit.
