FUZZ FACTORY 29: LORD DIABOLIK & THE SCREAMIN' KICK Remember, remember the....7th? of November!? As auld Guy Fawkes would have wanted, Fuzz Factory 29 is set to blow yer brains to smithereens. We have two stunning out-of-town bands coming to play a fuzzed out free show for you all at the best little music bar in Glasgow. Hot on the tail of an absolutely roaring Buckfest, we got French fuzz legends LORD DIABOLIK coming to vibrate yer souls, with support from good friends of the Fuzz Factory, The Screamin' Kick, back for their second Fuzz Factory outing. Tunes from 8 'til late from guest DJ Kyle M Thunder. LORD DIABOLIK (Perpingnon, France): Since the 1990s, the "Catch-Rock" sound of LORD DIABOLIK (The Hawaii-Men, Pickpockets) has drawn inspiration from the legend of The Cramps, their B-movie rock 'n' roll influences and 1960's parodic French rock. Think Jean Yanne, Hector, or Les Charlots. LORD DIABOLIK are currently tearing through a European tour, bringing their two-man, Lucha-masked fuzz party to The Fuzz Factory, and what better place to welcome them? THE SCREAMIN' KICK (Edinburgh): The Screamin' Kick are Edinburgh's own dirty, fuzzy, Garage punk/blues supergroup. With members from the No-Things, the Fakes and the Liberty Takers and The Thanes, they offer up a fuzzed-out, high-energy, no-frills, DIY, in-your-face garage stomp. THE FUZZ FACTORY: The Fuzz Factory is a FREE gig and club night run on the first Saturday of every month in Bar Bloc, by local fuzz-punk banditos, The Bucky Rage. We bring all manner of garage punk, rock n roll, fuzz rock bands and beyond to Glasgow for a free show every month. We have tunes from legendary resident DJ Neil MacInness, host of The Cult of Fuzz, keeping the beat going between bands, with occasional appearances from esteemed guest DJs. Bar Bloc host a slew of free gigs by local musicians every single night and offer amazing food and drinks served by wonderful staff. There really is no better bar to help support your local scene.
