About This Event

The Gratitude Pause is set for 5 November 2026 at Innerspace Meditation Centre in Glasgow. This 45-minute session will include a short talk and guided meditation focused on cultivating gratitude. The event is free and welcomes beginners.

Life can leave the mind noticing everything that is missing, unfinished or going wrong. For 45 minutes, pause. Begin with a short, simple talk introducing the week’s theme, followed by guided Raja Yoga meditation and quiet reflection. Step away from the noise, settle the mind and notice what is already good. Gratitude is more than saying thank you. It can change where we place our attention — helping us value people more, recognise our own inner strengths and find something steady even when life is difficult. Each week explores a fresh theme through a short talk, reflection and meditation. No discussion. Nothing to prepare. Simply sit, listen and leave feeling lighter. Raja Yoga is practised sitting comfortably on a chair — no mats, postures or physical yoga. Free · No previous experience needed · Beginners very welcome This event is offered by the Brahma Kumaris UK.
