About This Event

The Tessera Quartet performs From Strings to Song at Glasgow South Side. The programme includes Haydn's String Quartet in C Op.76 No.3. Tickets are £20 for general admission and £10 for children.

Join the Tessera Quartet for an evening that journeys from strings to song. They'll kick things off with Haydn's famous String Quartet in C Op.76 No.3 'Emperor', followed by the calm beauty of Amy Beach's String Quartet in One Movement. Then, get ready for a special treat as cellist Lucy Pye puts down her bow and takes the mic to sing a mix of Musical Theatre and Classical Vocal Music. It’s a unique concert blending instrumental mastery with vocal charm – don’t miss it! Get ready to go buck wild at Maggies Rock N Rodeo's sellout Cowboy Ceilidh - the wildest country party this side of Texas! Inspired by the open mic nights of Bourbon Street, regular live artists take to the stage and cover your favourite country classics at Maggie's Rock N Rodeo! Come join either presenter Edwin or Paddy & friends for a night of jamming & good chat at the Tartan Coo's weekly Open Mic Night on Fridays!
