Trail West and Friends bring a vibrant celebration of Gaelic culture, contemporary folk and Highland energy to the festival stage. Led by a band at the heart of Glasgow’s thriving Gaelic music scene, the performance blends driving accordion melodies, soaring whistles, guitars, keys and powerful vocals into a sound that is both rooted in tradition and unmistakably modern. Expect an evening of singalong favourites, heartfelt ballads and uplifting anthems, delivered with the infectious warmth and camaraderie that have made Trail West one of Scotland’s most popular live acts. Special guest appearances add an extra sense of occasion, creating a concert that feels like a gathering of friends united by a shared love of song, language and community. From reflective moments to full-throated choruses, the atmosphere is set to be joyous and inclusive throughout. Support comes from Scottish folk singer-songwriter Kirsteen Harvey, an independent Glasgow based artist who grew up in a family of traditional musicians, listening to a huge variety of musical genres which have played an influential role in shaping her signature sound. Her online presence has significantly grown since February 2023, with over 190k followers across socials, and her videos being recognised by Amy MacDonald, Marti Pellow, and reposted by the likes of Lewis Capaldi, The Kinks and Noah Kahan.
