Explore creative writing, ideas and storytelling in this engaging, day-long festival session.

Following last year's successful debut, the Writing Wrongs one-day event returns to the University of Glasgow's Byres Road Community Hub.

The event features hands-on workshops, talks by special guests, and open mic sessions for writers to share their work. Discover pathways to publishing, explore various disciplines of writing and connect with fellow writers in a welcoming, supportive atmosphere.

Whether you have always wanted to set pen to paper, or are looking to expand your writing skills, the sessions focusing on creativity and practical advice are perfect for both new and seasoned writers.

Hosted by local author Lorraine Queen and the members of the ‘Writing Wrongs’ group, this event will spark ideas and build confidence. It also promises to be lots of fun.

In addition to being part of this year's festival, Writing Wrongs is holding a Flash Fiction Competition. Open to writers worldwide, published and unpublished, on any topic up to 250 words.
