About This Event

Formed in Leeds in 2019, Yard Act quickly became a leading force in the British post-punk and indie rock scene. They rose to prominence with their 2022 debut album, The Overload, which reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and earned a Mercury Prize nomination. Known for sharp, observational lyrics and dark humour, they expanded their sound with the 2024 follow-up, Where’s My Utopia?, incorporating disco and electronic grooves. Their third album, You’re Gonna Need A Little Music, is scheduled for release on 17 July 2026, preceded by the single "Redeemer".
