Get ready for a spectacular, immersive night of fireworks as Churchdown Fireworks returns for 2026 — bringing one of Gloucestershire’s biggest Bonfire Night displays to Chosen Hill Rugby Club.

This is no ordinary local fireworks display. Expect a large-scale professional show featuring big effects, big impact and fireworks choreographed to a specially curated soundtrack. Inspired by competition-style displays, the show is designed to surround you with colour, sound and atmosphere from the first firework to the finale.

And for 2026, we’re doing something a little different.

Bigger night. Smaller ticket price.

We know the cost of a family night out continues to be difficult, so we’ve reduced our advance ticket prices by around half for 2026. Our aim is simple: make a genuinely large-scale professional fireworks display accessible to as many local families as possible.

Advance tickets:

Adult – £6

Child – £4

Family Ticket – £18

Tickets will also be available on the gate, subject to capacity, but gate prices will be higher. With advance prices this low, we strongly recommend booking early as the event may sell out.

More than just fireworks

The gates open from 5pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere before the main display.

Throughout the evening, expect food and drink, music, various stalls, funfair rides and amusement-style attractions, giving children and adults plenty to enjoy while waiting for the big show.

Then at approximately 8pm, it’s time to look up.

Our professional fireworks display will combine powerful aerial effects, huge bursts and a specially selected soundtrack to create an immersive fireworks experience with a proper big-event feel.

Fireworks with a purpose ❤️

Churchdown Fireworks also has an important purpose beyond providing a fantastic night out.

Money raised from the event supports grassroots sport in Gloucestershire, helping Chosen Hill Former Players Rugby Club continue its work within the community.

Grassroots clubs provide young people with far more than somewhere to play sport. They offer an outlet, friendships, teamwork, discipline and a supportive environment in which young people can develop and thrive. By attending Churchdown Fireworks, you're helping generate vital funds that allow that work to continue.

Gates open: 5pm

Fireworks: Approximately 8pm

Venue: Chosen Hill Rugby Club

The event will continue after the fireworks, with the funfair, food and drink expected to remain available afterwards, subject to individual operators and availability.

Please note that there is no public parking on site. Dedicated event parking may be available at Chosen Hill School on the night, with further information to be confirmed.

Unfortunately, vehicular disabled access to the event site is not available. Vehicle access must be kept clear for emergency and operational traffic. We appreciate your understanding and recommend considering this when making travel arrangements.
