LG Singles Night in collaboration with Bloom & Gold paint and sip.

🎨💜 SIP, PAINT & SPEED DATE!

Love Gloucestershire Speed Dating is back… but this time we've added a rather colourful twist. 👀🎨

We're teaming up with Bloom & Gold for Sip & Paint to bring you a speed dating night with a difference at Hop Kettle, Gloucester Docks.

Forget endless swiping, conversations that disappear after three messages and wondering whether someone's dating profile bears any resemblance to the person who actually turns up.

We're bringing dating back into the real world.

You'll meet other local singles through timed speed dates, but we're mixing things up with a fun Sip & Paint experience, icebreakers, drinks, laughter and plenty of opportunities to mingle before and after the dating rounds.

And don't worry…

Absolutely NO artistic ability is required. 😂🎨

Quite frankly, a terrible painting might be one of the best conversation starters you could ask for.

💜 HOW WILL THE NIGHT WORK?

When you arrive, grab yourself a drink, settle in and meet your fellow singles.

We'll kick things off with some fun icebreakers to get everyone relaxed before moving into our timed speed dating rounds.

You'll have a set amount of time with each date — enough to have a chat, discover a little about each other and decide whether there's a spark before it's time to move on and meet someone new.

No worrying about how to approach somebody.

No wondering whether they're actually single.

No trying to think of an excuse to escape a two-hour first date when you knew within the first five minutes.

Everyone is there for the same reason — to meet new people. 💜

And this time, alongside the dating, we're adding something extra…

🎨 SIP, PAINT… AND MAYBE FLIRT A LITTLE

Our friends at Bloom & Gold will be bringing the creative side of the evening.

You'll get the chance to pick up a paintbrush, have a laugh and create your own masterpiece — although we use the word masterpiece fairly loosely.

The Sip & Paint element gives everyone another opportunity to relax, chat and have some fun together, taking some of the pressure out of traditional speed dating.

Because sometimes conversation flows much more easily when you're both trying to work out why your painting looks nothing like it was supposed to. 🎨

🙋‍♀️ COMING ON YOUR OWN?

Please do!

Lots of our guests come to speed dating alone.

We know walking into a room full of strangers can feel like the hardest part, so from the moment you arrive we'll be there to welcome you, explain exactly how everything works and help everyone settle in.

And the beauty of speed dating?

You don't have to work out who to talk to — we've already sorted that bit for you. 💜

Of course, you're also very welcome to grab a single friend and come together.

👀 WHO CAN COME?

This event is open to single adults 25-40.

Whether you're newly single, have been single for a while, are completely fed up with dating apps or simply fancy meeting some new people in real life, we'd love to see you.

If you're unsure whether the event or age mix is right for you, drop us a message before booking and we'll happily have a chat.

ID will be required.

💜 WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

Maybe it's a relationship.

Maybe it's companionship.

Maybe you're just ready to put yourself back out there.

Or perhaps you're thinking:

“I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for… but sitting at home swiping clearly isn't working.”

That's okay too.

Come with an open mind and see what happens.

🎟️ DON'T BE THE PERSON WHO ALMOST BOOKED…

Spaces are limited, and with Love Gloucestershire Speed Dating and Bloom & Gold joining forces for this one, we're expecting this to be a really fun night.

So if you've been watching our events thinking:

“I really should try one of these…”

This is your sign. 👀

Worst case?

You have a drink, meet a room full of new people, paint something questionable and have a brilliant night out. 🎨

Best case?

Well…

One of those little timed conversations might be one you don't want to end. 💜
