LG Singles Night in collaboration with Bloom & Gold paint and sip. 🎨💜 SIP, PAINT & SPEED DATE! Love Gloucestershire Speed Dating is back… but this time we've added a rather colourful twist. 👀🎨 We're teaming up with Bloom & Gold for Sip & Paint to bring you a speed dating night with a difference at Hop Kettle, Gloucester Docks. Forget endless swiping, conversations that disappear after three messages and wondering whether someone's dating profile bears any resemblance to the person who actually turns up. We're bringing dating back into the real world. You'll meet other local singles through timed speed dates, but we're mixing things up with a fun Sip & Paint experience, icebreakers, drinks, laughter and plenty of opportunities to mingle before and after the dating rounds. And don't worry… Absolutely NO artistic ability is required. 😂🎨 Quite frankly, a terrible painting might be one of the best conversation starters you could ask for. 💜 HOW WILL THE NIGHT WORK? When you arrive, grab yourself a drink, settle in and meet your fellow singles. We'll kick things off with some fun icebreakers to get everyone relaxed before moving into our timed speed dating rounds. You'll have a set amount of time with each date — enough to have a chat, discover a little about each other and decide whether there's a spark before it's time to move on and meet someone new. No worrying about how to approach somebody. No wondering whether they're actually single. No trying to think of an excuse to escape a two-hour first date when you knew within the first five minutes. Everyone is there for the same reason — to meet new people. 💜 And this time, alongside the dating, we're adding something extra… 🎨 SIP, PAINT… AND MAYBE FLIRT A LITTLE Our friends at Bloom & Gold will be bringing the creative side of the evening. You'll get the chance to pick up a paintbrush, have a laugh and create your own masterpiece — although we use the word masterpiece fairly loosely. The Sip & Paint element gives everyone another opportunity to relax, chat and have some fun together, taking some of the pressure out of traditional speed dating.
