About This Event

The Wildlife Walk and Talk event is scheduled for 13 October 2026 at Compassion Cafe in Gloucester. Attendees will join staff from Tewkesbury Nature Reserve for a guided stroll around the reserve and nearby areas, with binoculars available for use.

Starting from the Compassion Cafe in Priors Park, the 'Wildlife Walk and Talk' is a casual stroll where you can chat and learn about nature with other participants and a member of the TNR staff. The session will leave the Compassion Cafe at 10:30 and end by 12:00 at the Compassion Cafe. There will be time left at the end for a chance to have a hot drink and food at the cafe.

Weather permitting we will be down on the reserve, taking a look at our local wildlife. Please bring suitable footwear, trainers are suitable in dry weather. In the event of flooding we will take an alternative gentle walk through the surrounding areas.

Meeting point - Compassion Cafe, Priors Park Community Church, Queens Road, Tewkesbury GL20 5EY.

(Please note there are toilet facilities and parking at the cafe, but none on the reserve. )
