CoRe-ACTS Coastal Citizen Science Event

Join the CoRe-ACTS (Coastal Resilience: Action Through Citizen Science) team for the next step in our ongoing journey! Following the successful release of 300 smart pebbles, we are now hosting our Sixth pebbles recovery event, where we’ll work together to locate and retrieve these pebbles from the shoreline.

This hands-on, family-friendly event is part of our continuous effort to better understand coastal processes and resilience through citizen science.

What to expect:

Learn how smart pebbles help us study coastal resilience

Take part in the pebble recovery process

Meet researchers, volunteers, and community members

Enjoy a relaxed, educational beach walk

Additional Information:

No experience needed – just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Recommended for ages 15+

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear for walking on the beach
