This is the perfect event for families who want to slow down, explore, and enjoy meaningful time together outdoors.

"I had a lovely, relaxing afternoon at Rosamund Community Garden in Guildford with Jane. It's a very relaxing environment and it was lovely to spend time with my family joining in a range of nature-based activities together. There was lots to see and learn about. We're all looking forward to the next session!" — Anna Jolley, mum of 2

Here’s what you can look forward to:

✨Nature Play (we have a mud kitchen)

✨ Gentle Garden Exploration – discover hidden treasures such as sloes, teasels, sedums, and Autumn colours

✨ Moments to Reflect & Connect – enjoy the peaceful surroundings with your family

✨ Seasonal Herbal Tea Treat – made from the garden’s own offerings!

Practical Notes:-

The terrain isn’t great for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. There are random nettles, brambles and the ground is uneven, so long trousers and trainers for children are best.

There is a mud kitchen so the children will get messy and wet - it's positively encouraged!

A tree bog toilet is available.

Car parking is close by.

Parents are responsible for their children.

🌱 Spaces are limited to 3 families - book now to enjoy a nurturing session of family connection in nature! One ticket per family so no need to book individual tickets or print off.

Please note, if you can't make the date, no problem but out of courtesy, please do cancel and/or let me know, as there's usually a waiting list. I will release the ticket to another family.

🚗 By car: Park on Longdown Road and walk along the footpath at the first left-hand bend - the garden is set back on the right.
