Supporting foster carers through keynote speakers, a support services marketplace and workshops on relevant topics.

As a result of feedback from our recent foster carer survey, we have shaped this event around the topics and areas of support most frequently requested by carers. The day will feature keynote presentations from Steven Russell and Rose Griffiths, alongside a marketplace showcasing a range of support services, including Action for Carers, Surrey Libraries, the Family Information Service and Local Offer, the Fostering Service and Network, and Kinship. Foster carers will also have the opportunity to attend a carousel of workshops exploring a variety of relevant and highly requested topics.

Please Note: this event is for foster carers only, not professionals

To accommodate school runs, we are offering flexible arrival and departure times. You are welcome to arrive from 9:30am for a 10:00am start, and while the speaker programme will conclude at 2:30pm, attendees are welcome to stay until 3:00pm.
