Feel your feet on the ground, the breeze on your face and the sound of birdsong to accompany this gentle martial art.

Tai Chi uses gentle graceful movements to stimulate ‘Chi’ or energy flow through the body. This calms the mind, improves balance and flexibility, and strengthens the immune system.

This term runs from Wednesday 9th September to Wednesday 21st October 2026 and we'll take a break for a week at Half Term. There is a small charge of £2.50 per session as a contribution to the tutor's expenses and winter accomodation. All you need are flat soft shoes, loose clothing and some drinking water.

Now that it's starting to get dark in the evenings again we will be moving to our winter quarters from Wednesday 30th September. There is plenty of free parking on site and, unlike the woods, there are facilities.

If you are new to Tai Chi the first class is free but please bear in mind the group has been running for some time and it will take a while to catch up - just do what you can!

Children are welcome but all under 16yr olds must be accompanied by an adult.
