Imagine your feet on the ground, the breeze on your face and the sound of birdsong to accompany this gentle martial art.

Tai Chi uses gentle graceful movements to stimulate ‘Chi’ or energy flow through the body. This calms the mind, improves balance and flexibility, and strengthens the immune system.

Now that it's starting to get dark in the evenings we have moved to our winter quarters at the Garrison Hub. There is plenty of free parking on site and, unlike the woods, there are facilities.

After the Half Term break this term runs from Wednesday 4th November to Wednesday 16th December 2026. All you need are flat soft shoes, loose clothing and some drinking water.

If you are new to Tai Chi the first class is free but please bear in mind the group has been running for some time and it will take a while to catch up - just do what you can!

Children are welcome but all under 16yr olds must be accompanied by an adult.
