The Wave Pictures have spent two decades quietly perfecting a distinctly British strain of indie rock, built on sharp observation, unfussy musicianship and David Tattersall's instantly recognisable voice.

Emerging from London's DIY circuit, the trio built a cult following through relentless touring and a prolific catalogue that moves easily between wiry guitar pop, folk storytelling and bluesy garage rock. Their songs are full of everyday characters, small dramas and wry humour, delivered with an intimacy that feels like conversation rather than performance.

Unfashionable in the best sense, The Wave Pictures remain enduring craftsmen, valuing songcraft, curiosity and consistency over trends.
