Join us, TJ's Dog Training and Heathland Hounds for the annual Wellesley Woodlands Dog Show. Hoopers & Scent Training, guided walks & more!!

The Wellesley Woodlands Annual Dog Show is a fantastic community event held in Aldershot, Hampshire, bringing dog owners together for a fun-filled day of walks, light-hearted competitions, and special training activities.

TJ's Dog Training: Provides expert guidance, along with introductory Canine Hoopers (low-intensity agility) and Scent Work taster sessions. 10 minute individual sessions from 8.30am to 10.30am

Heathland Hounds: Host guided group walks through the scenic woodland trails and bring along their HeathlandChallenge course for dogs & owners to enjoy.

Stalls & Socializing: Local pet businesses, craft stalls, and plenty of space for a family picnic, or chat with trainers and fellow dog lovers.

Fun Dog Show 10.30am to 12.00 midday [sign up on the day]: A child-friendly mini dog show with various classes, giving everyone a chance to showcase their pets and win small prizes.

NOTES

Please note this event is for fun and designed for beginners, not intended for dog trainers or experts. Please ensure that your dog is controlled and on a lead on arrival. All dogs (including puppies) are welcome. If your dog is aggressive you may be asked to leave.

For taster training sessions please book one time slot per dog and per activity and arrive 10 minutes before your slot. If you have more than 1 dog which you would like to have a go with, please book a separate time slot for each (ideally two adjacent times for convenience).

If you would like to have a go at both hoopers and scent training activities, please book each session separately and at a different time. The two activities will be running concurrently in separate arenas.

Professional Photographer available to take pictures of you and your dog which can be e-mailed to you after the event. Please make sure you complete a contact form at the Wellesley Gazebo to give to him.

Heathland Hounds will also be present at the event to offer advice on promoting good dog ownership, introduce you to a whole community of dog owners and talk about what responsible dog walking in the countryside looks like.
