Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Bramley Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is just inside the main gate by the Waverley Borough Council sign.

Bramley Closed cemetery contains twelve Commonwealth War Grave commemorations scattered throughout the cemetery from both World Wars and from all three services. All of the casualties either lived in Bramley or had close family connections to the village. The tour will tell their stories, including an interesting connection with Guildford Cathedral and a major restoration and re-dedication undertaken by the Intelligence Corps.

The tour will last approx. 60 mins and will cover about 200 metres on paths and grass on uneven ground.

There is limited parking available nearby. There are no facilites or toilets available on site. Please bring water if required.

Please come dressed for the weather and in a suitable footwear.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the cemetery.

Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
