About This Event

Saturday 12 December | 3pm Some stories are best experienced together. Join Stephanie and The Story Well at Barnaby’s Lounge for an afternoon of imagination, reflection and creative discovery. This month’s Saturday Story Well session, The Twisted Thread , invites you into an original, visually rich tale designed to spark curiosity and open up new ways of seeing the world. These are stories drawn from a collective well: ethereal tales, dream-hinged and heart-slanted, with storylines to stand in, ponder on and journey through. Each story offers its own atmosphere, characters and themes, leaving room for your imagination to wander and discover something unexpected. After the storytelling, there will be an opportunity to share your reflections on the themes, archetypes and images that have stayed with you. Bring your curiosity, an open heart and, if you wish, art or writing materials to respond to the story in your own way. Everyone is welcome, whether you would like to create, reflect or simply listen and enjoy. Artists are welcome to bring their own materials, though tall easels, oils and acrylics are not permitted. Make an afternoon of it. Arrive early for lunch from Vinnie’s Pizza Co. , serving New York-style pizza, small plates, dips and more from midday. Settle in, enjoy something delicious and let the afternoon unfold. Saturday 12 December | Story Well from 3pm Donations are warmly appreciated.
