About This Event

Saturday 5 December | 4.00pm Songwriting with feeling, rhythms that pull you in and a sound that refuses to sit neatly in one genre — Keith’s Sun is the solo project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leon Baker, bringing his distinctive musical vision to Barnaby’s Lounge. Leon’s songs explore the heart, character and vulnerability of everyday life, delivered through imaginative arrangements and an adventurous approach to sound. Listeners may hear echoes of The National, The Police, David Bowie and Peter Gabriel , but his music takes its own winding route, balancing strong rhythms with expressive, emotionally charged songwriting. An accomplished drummer, Leon has also performed with Wobblyme, The Kindling, Drugstore, Life on Sky, The Clones, Foreign Slippers and The Missingman, alongside work for the BBC. That breadth of experience informs a solo performance that moves freely between influences, moods and musical ideas. Expect an intimate afternoon of live music in Hastings, with plenty of character and room for the unexpected. Food will be available , making it a lovely opportunity to settle in, enjoy something to eat and discover an artist whose music rewards a closer listen. Saturday 5 December | From 4.00pm £6+ per person supports our live musicians.
