About This Event

Every Tuesday and Thursday | 3.00pm–5.00pm Sometimes the best way to get words on the page is to give yourself two uninterrupted hours and a little company. Writers’ Café at Barnaby’s Lounge is a relaxed co-working space for writers who want to make progress on their projects, surrounded by others doing the same. Bring your novel, poetry, screenplay, journal, essays or that piece of writing you’ve been meaning to return to. Set an intention, settle in upstairs and enjoy two hours of quiet, focused work. There’s no pressure to share what you’re writing or explain what you’re working on — simply turn up, find your rhythm and let the words come. When the session finishes, you can head downstairs for a drink and a chance to connect with fellow writers, if you fancy it. Whether you’re an established author, an aspiring novelist or someone who just loves putting thoughts into words, you’ll find space to concentrate and a welcoming creative atmosphere. Sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 5pm at Barnaby’s Lounge, 46 Robertson Street, Hastings. Free to attend, but registration is required as spaces are limited.
