Family Constellations Workshop in St Leonards-on-SeaIs there something in your life that feels heavier than it should?

A repeating tension.

A conflict that won't resolve.

A decision that feels blocked.

A burden that doesn't quite feel like yours.

Or do you notice the same pattern resurfacing, in relationships, at work, in your sense of belonging or self-worth?

Difficulty setting boundaries.

Carrying responsibility for others.

A career block that feels disproportionate.

A quiet sense of guilt, shame or not fully belonging.

What appears personal is often connected to a wider system.

Family Constellations is a structured and experiential approach that can bring hidden dynamics into awareness, whether they show up in family, relationships, work or life direction.

It can offer a different way of looking at something you may already have thought about, talked about or tried to understand, yet still feel that something underneath has not shifted.

No previous experience is required.

What is Family Constellations?

Family Constellations creates a living map of a family or wider system, allowing relationships and dynamics that can be difficult to recognise from within to become more visible.

A participant begins with something they would like to explore. This might be a relationship, a recurring pattern, a difficult decision, a feeling of being stuck, or something they do not fully understand.

Other members of the group may then be invited to represent family members, significant people or other elements connected to the issue. These representatives are positioned within the space and, with gentle facilitation, we pay attention to what begins to emerge.

The process can offer a different perspective on patterns, roles and loyalties within the system, including, at times, patterns that appear to have been carried through generations.

There is no acting or performance involved. Representatives do not need to know anything about the people or elements they are representing, and you are always free to say yes or no to being a representative.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone curious to understand themselves more deeply and explore patterns that may be repeating in their life.

You might come with:

• A recurring difficulty in a relationship or within your family

• Difficulty setting boundaries or a tendency to carry responsibility for others

• A feeling of being stuck, despite having already thought or talked about the issue

• A pattern around work, career, confidence or self-worth that keeps resurfacing

• A difficult decision or life transition

• A sense of guilt, disconnection or not fully belonging

• A feeling that you may be carrying something that did not begin with you

• A physical sensation or tension that feels connected to something deeper

You may already be engaged in coaching, therapy or personal development, or this may be your first experience of this kind of work.

You do not need to know exactly what you want to explore. Some people arrive with a very clear issue. Others simply have a sense that something keeps repeating, or that there is something beneath the surface they would like to understand differently.

What happens during the day?

There are different ways of participating in a Family Constellations workshop.

You may:

• Bring a personal issue to explore

• Be invited to represent someone or something in another person's constellation

• Witness the constellations of others

Representing and witnessing are an important part of the process, and participants often find that what unfolds in someone else's constellation resonates with aspects of their own experience.

The day will include:

• An introduction to Family Constellations, what to expect and how we will work together as a group

• Clear guidance around participation, confidentiality and the boundaries that help create a respectful and carefully held space

• A short demonstration of how a constellation works

• A guided meditation connecting us with our ancestors and family system

• An experiential exercise inviting you to reflect on your own family and ancestral system

• Several constellation processes

• Breaks for integration, movement and rest

• Space towards the end of the day to reflect on and integrate the experience

Family Constellations is primarily experiential rather than theoretical. I will explain the process and provide enough context for you to understand and participate in the work, but most of our time together will be devoted to experiencing it.

As the number and length of constellations naturally varies, a personal constellation cannot be guaranteed as part of your ticket.
