Born in The Gambia and raised in a family of renowned musicians, Kawson's performances are driven by infectious percussion, soaring vocals and the unmistakable sounds of the sabar drums and xalam, creating a live experience that is both deeply rooted in tradition and irresistibly danceable.

Backed by an exceptional live band, the performance celebrates the rich musical heritage of West Africa while embracing modern influences that connect with audiences across generations and cultures.
