Pinhole Photography for Digital Cameras

Join us in person for an event about pinhole photography and digital cameras!

Workshop – Thursday 22 October 11am-4pm

With an hour break for lunch (not provided)

Maximum of 6 participants

Join professional photographer Nico Vromans in this fun, hands-on workshop as he guides you through making a pinhole lens and then making pinhole photographs with your digital camera. No experience is necessary, just bring your DSLR digital camera and a spare body cap.

We will make your ‘lens’ using the spare body cap, and then experiment with our cameras to create the images and effects you desire. If you don’t have a spare camera body cap, you will be able to make a temporary one from the materials provided.

The fee for the workshop is £60 inclusive.

For examples of Vromans’ pinhole camera work please see his website: nicovromans.nl (https://nicovromans.nl).

This workshop forms part of the PhotoHastings October photo festival 2026, we are currently enjoying our 16th year of bringing contemporary photography to Hastings. To discover our festival or to join our membership please visit our website - photohastings.org (https://photohastings.org).
