The Transformational Breathwork Immersion will be held at The Humble Heart in Hastings on 6 September 2026. Entry costs £42.00 for a deep breathwork and somatic session designed to help attendees wind down.
A deep breathwork and somatic immersion to begin to wind down and gather ourselves back in after summer
If you've heard all the talk about breathwork and wondered what it's all about - this is your chance to come and experience it for yourself (because it's so much more than just your regular daily breathing...).
You're invited to join me for an evening of tuning into the incredible power of your very own breath as we transition from the energetic highs of summer towards the cooler, slowing down of Autumn.
This is for you if you've been feeling stuck in life, overwhelmed, like you can't rest, you want a deeper connection with yourself and your body, you want to explore the depths of your subconscious to access parts of yourself your thinking mind can't access, OR if you're just curious about what breathwork can do for you.
Our breath is the bridge between our mind and body, inner and outer worlds, the two branches of the nervous system, the conscious and subconscious, and even between dimensions. When used consciously, you can use your breath to tune into profound states of awareness and healing.
What to expect:
We will begin with some light, gentle, guided somatic movement and/or intention setting and a demonstration of the breathing technique.
You'll then lie down and get cozy for a gentle but powerful guided journey with your breath. We will use a breathwork technique called Conscious Connected Breathing, or circular breathing. While this technique can be powerful, know that you are always in control of your own experience and you can return to your normal breathing at any time. We never try to force a 'breakthrough' or push for a specific experience. Options will be given to modify your breathing to suit your levels of comfort and we always focus on relaxed and gentle breathing, never pushing.
We will finish with time for integrating your experience, questions, and optional sharing.
No previous experience is necessary.
Guided by a trauma-trained somatic practitioner and breathwork therapist.
While everyone experiences breathwork differently and each journey is unique, you might experience during and after the session:
→ Reconnection with yourself, your body, and your intuition
→ A calmer mind
→ Feeling clearer, more grounded and relaxed, and lighter
→ Better ability to focus and meditate
→ Reduced stress and anxiety
→ Reduction of physical aches and pains
→ The release of emotions you've not been able to feel
→ The shifting of energetic blocks
→ Heightened states of awareness
→ Moments of insight and ah-ha-s!
Benefits are often seen after one session, sometimes you'll notice them after more. Some after-effects can dissipate in the days after the journey, others can be a lifelong transformation.
Please note:
Breathwork can be taken at your own pace and you are always in control of your own experience, however, these practices can result in physical and emotional release and the release of trauma.
It is not advised for people with anxiety, who are currently going through highly stressful life events, or who have a history of cardiovascular disease, angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, aneurysms, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery, severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for people on medications.
Please refrain from practicing breathwork if you've received vaccinations within the last 3 months.
Please consult with your healthcare practitioner before booking.
Pregnant women are advised against practicing breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.
Note that there will be immersive music played throughout the session, if you'd rather be closer to or farther from the speaker, or have hearing needs, let Rachel know before the sessio.
Do not drink alcohol before the session.
Eat a light meal around 2 hours before the session.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing that you can breathe freely in!
As this is an in-person event, places are limited and booking in advance is essential.
I can't wait to breathe with you.
