Vox Voices Hastings - Autumn - 4 week course (seasonal shifts) Come and join the next 4 -week course of Vox Voices workshops this Autumn 2026 Vox Voices is a space to sing, move & find your voice within a playful, supportive group space - with harmony singing, collective improvisation, movement & breathwork. Open to adult singers of all experiences with a focus on female voices. As we shift out of summer and into Autumn this course will focus on gathering together through intuitive group listening, all the while gaining confidence to move from harmony to harmony. Tuesday evenings: 22nd, 29th September & 6th, 13th October 2026 8pm - 9.15pm @ THE BEACON West hill, Hastings Activities include learning a selection of global folk songs all by ear, fun vocal improvisations, sound baths & breathwork. Led by creative facilitator, cellist & singer Tara Franks ------------------ TICKET OPTIONS No booking fees this Autumn course! We will start every week with group warms ups bringing us into the room together with voice, movement and breath. As part of our learning process we will explore some playful vocal improvisation activities all within the safety of the group. Everything will be collective & collaborative with activities built up in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable, have fun and get creatively involved. Who is it for? Open to all who want to sing with a focus on female voices. Experienced & tentative singers alike whether you... *are a more experienced singers who want a chance to really focus on listening and timbre of sound within a group context challenging yourself in your own way * use your voice for work and want to feel more connected and able to project * sang when you were young and haven't had the chance to since then * want to find a new creative space for yourself, a space to try something new? * want to connect with a new group of people? Singers of all experiences welcome however please note this workshop is for adults not children. Why join? Tara's ethos and style of facilitating is flexible and responsive to whoever is in the room, she loves working with groups of people fostering a group dynamic and supporting people to be creative, playful and use their voices to the full! Tara believes everyone can sing and there is no better way to lift your spirits than singing together. Having worked as a creative facilitator for nearly 20 yrs, Tara has a way of making people feel comfortable to take part whatever their expertise, and isn't afraid to challenge groups and push them out if their co.fort zone in a supportive way.
