About This Event

The Autumn Term 2026 Silversmithing Intermediate Short Course will take place at Hereford College of Arts. This ten-week course is for participants who already possess knowledge of jewellery making and silversmithing.

This 10 week course is for those who already have a knowledge of silversmithing and jewellery making.

Overview

Work alongside your tutor in this intermediate short course, where you’ll bring your personal projects to life while learning advanced silversmithing techniques. Through expert guidance, you’ll master skills such as flush and tube setting, crafting a trinity ring, and designing unique silver pieces.

Build confidence using professional tools and materials as you develop your expertise and create stunning, individual pieces. Base metals are provided to get you started, with the opportunity to purchase and work with your own precious materials as your designs evolve. You’ll also receive tailored advice on any additional materials needed to complete your projects.
