FAQS
~ Do I need experience with sound baths or meditation?
Not at all, sound baths are a great intro to meditative states.
~ Do I have to be still the whole time?
You'll be invited to make yourself comfortable for the sound bath in either a seated or lying position. While folks generally don't move so much throughout the session you are welcome to move around/adjust as long as it doesn't disturb other participants.
~ What if I fall asleep?
People often get into such a relaxed state they drift off and this is fine! If you start snoring I may come gently squeeze your foot to wake you. You will still receive all of the benefits of the experience.
~ Is this suitable for me with xyz?
Sound baths are not suitable if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker/heart conditions, or epilepsy. If you have another condition that you are concerned about impacting your experience please consult your healthcare provider prior to the session.
Kind Words from Previous Participants:
"It was my first sound bath and I have nothing but positive things to say - I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and peace afterwards. I had some real insights during the session, my heart actually told me to stop pushing so hard with everything all the time. It was a real moment of clarity and honesty and I’ve been carrying it and reflecting on it since.
I felt slightly apprehensive beforehand (as it was my first one and I was by myself) but the whole set up was tranquil and not at all intimidating. I was actually glad I didn’t bring anyone, because it allowed me to completely focus on myself.”
"Thank you Marie for such a wonderful experience. At one point during the sound bath all of my TMJ pain disappeared and I can say for certain I’m in less pain now than when I walked in.”
