Beats, Bars & Belonging: Roots, Rhythms & Rituals

Part of the Buckinghamshire Culture Open Weekends 2026, Beats, Bars & Belonging is a creative music technology workshop for young people exploring identity, culture, and community through music.

Inspired by this year's theme, "Roots, Rhythms & Rituals," participants will create original beats, learn DJ skills, and record vocals using professional music technology. Through music production, performance, and creative expression, young people will explore their influences, share their stories, and connect with others in a fun, inclusive environment.

The free workshop helps build confidence, creativity, digital skills, teamwork, and a sense of belonging while celebrating the diverse sounds, cultures, and experiences that shape our communities.
