A chance to find out more about induction. We will go through the whole process and explain the pathway with a chance to ask questions.

Class is held in Maternity Outpatients waiting room area. This is located upstairs in the Waddesdon Wing. NOT CLAYDON WING where labour ward and the birth centre are.

There is a sign outside that says "Maternity Outpatients". Go inside and up the stairs to the waiting room area.

You only need to book ONE ticket even if bringing your partner or someone else with you to the class. They do not need their own ticket.

This class will discuss induction of labour, including:

Ways you can promote labour leading up to your induction

Methods of induction, including the risks and benefits

The care you can expect during induction including pain relief options

Self-help tips including breathing exercises and mobilisation and position tips
