What is the 30-Min Marathon?

Competitors swing the mace for 30 minutes non-stop.

Goal: maximum repetitions.

Scoring is based on:

Weight of the mace used

Number of repetitions

Categories:

Male & Female divisions

Movements: Double-hand 360 or Single-hand 300

Why “Half Marathon”?

Just like a half marathon run, this event tests endurance, stamina, and mental toughness.

It’s not about one rep, it’s about sustaining flow and strength for the full 30 minutes.

What is the Biathlon?

Event 1

⏱️ 10 Minutes Double Hand 360s

Score = Mace Weight × Total Reps

Followed later in the day (after a good recovery)…

Event 2

⏱️ 10 Minutes Single Arm 300s

Score = Mace Weight × Total Reps

🏆 Overall Biathlon Score = 360 Score + 300 Score

Global Competition via Zoom

Thanks to KBX, athletes worldwide can compete online.

All sets will be judged and submitted live. Get in touch to book your spot between Monday 15th - 19th of Feb 2027. Deadline to book by 8th of Feb 2027 so don't miss out.

The international side was inspired by a conversation between Rik Brown and Hannah Camden and we’re thrilled to announce that Rik himself will be competing on Zoom.

Magic Macebell Standards

Magic Macebells will be supplying the maces on competition day.

To be entered into the official Maceworks Competition and Official Leaderboard, Competitors need to swing with a standard Magic Macebell only. These will create scores that count towards titles, records, and rankings.

Those using other brands of mace will still be judged using the same movement standards, with results recognised on a separate community leaderboard but are not eligible for official records or titles.

All participants receive a 10% discount on purchased Maces.
