Join Keith Robinson for a guided walk around Beaumont Park discovering its past and secrets.

Join Keith Robinson to discover the history and secrets of Dungeon Wood which became Huddersfield’s first municipal park. Keith will explain the origins of the park, exploring some of its hidden features and its role in Huddersfield’s history. Starting from the bandstand the route will be a circular one. There will an opportunity at the end to view some of the ephemera associated with the park at Keith’s house over tea and coffee with donations going to the work of the Friends of Beaumont Park. Please note that due to the park’s terrain, there are some steep steps and a climb.

Please note that all pets accompanying attendees on the walk must be kept of a lead at all times.
