“Play an Instument”

Get ready to make some noise at Play an Instrument, a fun, hands on music session designed especially for 8–15 year olds. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or you already love to jam, this is your chance to explore new sounds, try different instruments, and learn the basics in a relaxed, creative space. Join us from 6:00pm–8:00pm on 13th August at the Broad Oak Cricket Club (Community Room), Broad Oak, Linthwaite, Huddersfield HD7 5TE, where you’ll discover just how exciting making music can be. Come along, get inspired, and let your inner musician shine!

And yes — there’s free pizza and soft drinks afterwards. The event is completely free to attend, but spaces won’t last long, so make sure to register via the link and secure your spot in the madness!

This will be part of a series of monthly “Youth Engagement” events for youths 10-16 living in Linthwaite, organised, supported and paid for by Pride in Linthwaite, in conjunction with grant funding from Thornton & Ross/Stada One Community Foundation

We will utilise groups and facilities in the local area to showcase the sheer amount of recreational activities youths can enjoy on their doorstep.

Each month we will announce an event and will look to compliment each with pizza afterwards.
