Supporting you to Support your Team – Employer Forum Kirklees

Join us for a welcoming and interactive face-to-face employer forum at The Zone, Huddersfield, focused on supporting your team. This event will bring together organisations from across Kirklees to share ideas, experiences, challenges and good practice. Penny Wade, Director of Finance and Resources at the Kirkwood will be speaking about the support they offer for working carers on their team including paid carers leave.

With at least 1 in 7 employees balancing work alongside unpaid caring responsibilities, creating carer-friendly workplaces has never been more important. This forum is an opportunity to connect with other employers, hear from guest speakers, and explore practical ways to better support staff wellbeing, retention and inclusion.

We also want to hear from you. The session will include discussions around what employers would find most useful from future forums, networking opportunities and training sessions, helping shape future support around the needs of local organisations.

The event is taking place at The Zone, Huddersfield, home of the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust. This year they are celebrating 18 years at The Zone, and we are delighted to be able to support and be part of these celebrations by hosting our forum in this fantastic community space.
