This is a new, regular, physical 'Ethical Networking Event' in Huddersfield.

About the Event:

It's free to attend, and each event will have a guest speaker who'll give you informative, interesting, useful and actionable information and advice that you can implement into your own business or organisation (with no hard sell).

Network and make connections:

You'll also have the chance to network and connect with like-minded, local people from businesses and organisations such as charities, universities and local council members across Huddersfield, Kirklees and the wider West Yorkshire region.

It's open to:

1) Anyone that wants to know about how to be more ethical in their business, or

2) Anybody that already has an ethical business or organisation (or ethical products or services), and wants to learn about other responsible, ethical, inclusive and sustainable business practices (and other things that they can do).

The Venue:

The venue is in central Huddersfield, around 3 minutes walk from the Train Station and a couple of minutes from the Bus Station too. Accessible from either station to the venue, and the venue itself is fully accessible.

Travelling there by car?

There is 90-minute parking nearby - in car parks, on-street, and at the SIP Car Park by Sainsbury's. This video shows other places where you can park if you can't get one of the spaces nearest to the venue.

Who is the Event Speaker?

Chris Naylor, who is the organiser of the Ethical Networking event, will be the inaugural Event Speaker. During Chris' 20-minute talk, you'll get four key inclusivity takeaways.

How to:

1. Be more inclusive when introducing a guest speaking spot at an event.

2. Create more inclusive Subtitles for video content.

3. Provide more inclusive Hashtags.

4. Write good Alt Text and Image Descriptions.

Are there plenty of opportunities to network?

There is extended informal networking either side of the Speaker Slot, so plenty of opportunities to network and make connections.

Your choice of sessions:

Stay for the whole event, or pick and choose your preferred combination of sessions, with the chance to take breaks and time outs if you need them.
