Explore how you can identify and address gaps in students’ foundational skills so that they are better able to access the wider curriculum.

Join Trinity Academy Grammar for The NOVA Pathway – Inclusion Exemplified, a free event exploring how schools can identify and address gaps in students’ foundational skills so that they are better able to access the wider curriculum and keep pace with their peers.

This session will showcase the school’s NOVA Pathway, sharing how assessment of foundational skills is used to understand pupils’ starting points, target support and rapidly fill gaps in knowledge and understanding.

Colleagues will hear about the curriculum design behind the pathway, including how learning is sequenced to build confidence, strengthen core skills and support pupils across a range of subjects. The event will also reflect on the school’s learning so far following implementation, offering honest insight into what has worked, what has developed over time and how provision continues to evolve.

A key focus will be the benefits of an inclusive environment, including how thoughtful curriculum planning, classroom practice and environment design can help students feel supported, successful and ready to engage.

This free event is ideal for school leaders, SENDCos, inclusion leads, curriculum leaders and colleagues interested in developing inclusive pathways that enable students to flourish.
