Therapeutic Art Workshops for People Living with Chronic Pain
Join our welcoming Monday Therapeutic Art Workshops, created specifically for people living with chronic pain. These sessions offer a safe, supportive and understanding space to take time for yourself, explore creativity, reduce stress and connect with others who understand some of the challenges of living with ongoing pain.
Sessions may include art journaling, mindfulness, painting, colouring, mixed media, embroidery, sensory art and creative wellbeing activities. There is no pressure to create anything perfect — you can work at your own pace, take breaks when needed and choose activities that feel right for you.
Participants receive their own art journal and folder to keep their creative work safe and continue projects between sessions. If a planned activity doesn't suit you on the day, you can colour, continue previous artwork or bring along your own creative project.
Through creativity, the project aims to support wellbeing, confidence, self-expression, mindfulness and social connection, while providing a friendly space where you can simply be yourself.
