If you want to help reduce the amount of marine pollution then why not join our summer beach clean. You'll join our hardworking team and help maintain and cleanup Yorkshire's coastline and help protect the many species that call it home.

Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

T his event takes place on Spurn's beach which has rocky uneven terrain with soft sand. The beach clean will last for two hours.

What to bring/wear

Our events mostly take place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! We also suggest waering hats and suncream due to this activity taking place outside.

Toilets and catering

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food.

Joining us on the day

Our events meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there is a cafe and toilets. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event!

Please meet at our picnic benches in the Spurn Discovery Centre's outdoor auditorium.

Parking

There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
