With introductions to sketching beautiful landscapes, plants and animals to be found at Spurn and developing observational skills, while stepping back to connect and relax in nature.
Spending time in nature has been shown to improve mental health, so slow down and zoom in on the natural world to discover the secrets and patterns it has to offer.
Sessions focused on beginners and improvers.
You will recieve a journal to take away with you and other materials will be provided for use during the session.

This event takes place in areas of uneven terrain.
What to bring/wear
Our events mostly take place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! If it's a hot day, remember a hat and suncream!
Toilets and catering
There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food.
Joining us on the day
Our events meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there is a cafe and toilets. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event!
Please meet at our picnic benches in the Spurn Discovery Centre's outdoor auditorium.
Parking
There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
