Stargazing and astronomy at Abriachan Forest

An Evening of Stargazing at Abriachan Forest

Join us at Abriachan Forest, a designated Dark Sky Discovery site, for an evening of stargazing and astronomy with mathematician and astronomer Stephen Mackintosh.

🔭 If the skies are clear, we’ll head outdoors to explore the night sky, discover fascinating stars and celestial objects, and enjoy the possibility of telescopic views of Saturn.

🌌 If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll bring the Universe indoors with a planetarium experience and an engaging astronomy talk.

🪐 The Abriachan team will also be on hand with fun, astronomy-themed STEM activities to keep younger (and older!) visitors entertained.

Booking via Eventbrite is essential, as places are limited by the capacity of the forest classroom and outdoor facilities. Admission is free for under-16s accompanied by an adult. For larger group bookings, please contact the Abriachan team in advance.
