About This Event

The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) in Inverness will host an orienteering event on 2026-09-12, as part of the Summer of Sport celebration. The event is suitable for all ages and abilities, and tickets are £1.50.

To celebrate a summer of sport in Scotland, find your sense of adventure and give orienteering a go! Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Give Orienteering a go this Summer! These sessions are aimed at beginner families looking to try a new sport. In this session you will learn navigational skills and gain the confidence to use an orienteering map.

From taking part in this session you will gain a free entry to an Inverness Orienteering club event on 26th September at ​​Fortrose. This event is the perfect opportunity to apply your new skills learnt in the first session.
