Felixstowe’s 2nd Charities Summit: keynote speaker, 8 learning sessions and networking with local charities and voluntary organisations

2nd Felixstowe Charities Summit

Thursday 5 November 2026 | 9.30am–3pm | Felixstowe School

Join charities, voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations from Felixstowe and the surrounding area for a day of practical learning, fresh ideas and making connections.

Organised by the Felixstowe Charities Network, our second summit will feature a keynote speaker and eight learning topics designed to support your organisation, its trustees, staff and volunteers:

Charities Governance – understanding responsibilities and supporting good decision-making.

AI for Charities – exploring practical ways artificial intelligence can help your organisation.

Pride in Place – exploring its relevance to local charities and community groups.

Safeguarding – helping keep the people you support, your volunteers and your staff safe.

Health and Safety – taking a practical approach to managing risks.

Social Media Tips – helping your organisation reach people and share its story.

Getting the Best from the FCN Website – making use of the network’s online tools and resources.

Funding Sources and Tips – finding funding opportunities and preparing effective applications.

You can book onto four sessions during the day: two in the morning and two in the afternoon, choosing the topics most useful to you and your organisation.

Lunch will be provided, with time to meet other organisations, exchange experiences and explore ways to work together.

Whether you represent an established charity, a small voluntary group or a newly formed organisation, come along to learn, contribute and build useful connections with others serving our community.

Book your place and join us on 5 November.
