Introducing your Tutor - Jules
"About me How did I get here? Where have I been? What have I done!
At 65, I never imagined I would become a self-taught watercolour and inks artist. After leaving my job in 2022 and moving to the village of Kirton with my husband, life took an unexpected creative turn.
What began as painting pet portraits soon grew into a passion for loose, expressive art filled with colour, freedom and emotion. Encouraged by the response to my work and the joy it brings others, I now run welcoming workshops where people can escape perfection, experiment fearlessly and rediscover their creativity — no experience needed, just a willingness to explore and enjoy relaxing with art.
I chose to call my workshops Dip n’ Dabble implying that the purpose of my session was not all about perfection, no templates, copying, or being able to draw.
It’s not just painting… it’s laughter, colour, and a little escape from everyday life. Less stress, more colour, and a room full of creativity… that’s the magic of painting together.
Where mistakes turn into magic and strangers become friends… welcome to my Dip n’ Dabble adventure!"
