About This Event

The Year 6 Open Evening 2026 will be held at Ixworth High School in Ipswich on 17 September 2026. The event will be free to attend and will provide an opportunity for prospective students to visit the school.

We invite you to join us at our Year 6 Open Evening at Ixworth High School! Join us for an exciting in-person event.

We are very proud of our school and its students. Join us for a student led guided tour of the school, attempt our interactive tasks, meet our wonderful students and staff.

As well as obtaining a feel for the school join one of our introductory speeches which are scheduled at 4pm & 6pm.

We hope you will be able to join us for one of the two available sessions.

Furthermore, please visit our website to view taster opportunities throughout the academic year for Y6 & 5 students (Primary to Secondary Transition & Y5/6 Experience Sessions - Ixworth High School)
