Free, member-run photography meet at King's Lynn Library. First Saturday of every month at 1pm. Meet people and make friends.

Welcome to Social Photography

Join us at King's Lynn Library, 46 New Conduit Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1DL, on the first Saturday of every month at 1pm.

Social Photography exists to help people socialise through photography in a friendly, inclusive way—no pressure, no egos, and no requirement to own expensive gear.

Member-run, friendship-focused

Photography can sometimes feel isolating. Social Photography meet-ups give you a regular opportunity to connect with other photographers, share ideas and build friendships.

UKSP provides the date, time and location. Members make the meet-up happen together—there is no designated host or organised programme.

How to find each other

When you arrive, look for a camera on a table or a small sign saying “Social Photography”. If you’re the first there, put out your own camera or sign so others can find you.

Start a conversation, welcome anyone arriving on their own, and help everyone feel included. If you fancy taking photos afterwards, suggest a photowalk and organise it together. The community shapes what happens next.

The monthly meet-up is FREE. No paid membership is required to attend.

To stay connected between meets and organise photowalks together, join our optional Telegram community:

£2/month Community: support the community, keep in touch and organise with other members.

£5/month Professional: everything in Community, plus your own approved website profile and access to suitable paid opportunities.

Professional membership is £5 total per month.

Join through @SocialUKbot on Telegram (https://t.me/SocialUKbot), or read the joining instructions (https://www.uksocialphotography.co.uk/join).

If you upload any images to Instagram, you are also welcome to collaborate with @UKSocialPhotography so your work can be shared on our main feed and seen by the wider community.
