Turning back the clock; Archaeology Tours takes place at Oxburgh Estate in Kings Lynn. The tours cover archaeological investigations that revealed Roman and Medieval settlements. Admission is required.

Archaeological investigations over the last few years have shaped our understanding of Oxburgh, revealing evidence of Roman and Medieval settlements within what is now Oxburgh Estate.

Join our extremely knowledgeable archaeology volunteers and discover Oxburgh’s incredible archaeology as you delve into the past and discover how our Parkland landscape has changed over the millennia. You can even handle some of our historic finds!

Access to some areas of this tour can be difficult due to the terrain and will be adapted depending on ground conditions, group interest and ability.
