Judge Jules returns to Lancaster on 16 October 2026 for a performance at Lancaster Town Hall. This event marks his return to the Ashton Hall since a previous performance in 2022. Tickets are available from £20.00.

For almost four decades Judge Jules has been a pioneer in the world of electronic music.

Since kicking off his career behind the decks in 1987, Judge Jules has ticked every box at the highest level, as a DJ, producer, promoter, A&R, radio presenter, general taste-maker and, more recently, a music specialist lawyer.

After an incredible performance at Highest Point in 2022, the judge returns to Lancaster this time inside the incredible Ashton Hall, inside Lancaster Town Hall.

Phases come and go, genres are born and laid to rest in the blink of an eye, but one thing is for certain... The Judge won't budge.

Judge Jules is a British dance music DJ. Born on October 26, 1965 as Julius O'Riordan, he was educated at University College School and the London School of Economics. He studied law at the LSE, giving rise to his stage name "Judge Jules", though he obtained a lower second class honours in his degree. Jules began his music career as a DJ on the then pirate radio station Kiss FM before he joined BBC Radio 1 in 1997, where he now has a regular Saturday night slot.
