About This Event

lovetempo and Forty Five Records will host a music event at Kanteena in Lancaster on 5 November 2026. The evening features soul-drenched dance music described as 'lonely-hearts disco' for a retro-modern crowd. Tickets cost £10.

Forty Five Records & Kanteena present….. lovetempo, the soul-drenched, “lonely-hearts disco” project of Brooklyn-based artist Mattie Safer (formerly of The Rapture and longtime touring member of Poolside). The project blends saudade sentimentality and shimmering disco with sophisticated house, jazz-funk, and global rhythms to create a sound that is heartfelt, euphoric, and made to move you.
